This blog is created for several purposes. The obvious one is to tell about OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) and ongoing initiatives that are happenning in Vietnam and beyond, but also to tell about volunteering organizations, about foreign countries and what motivates people to volunteer besides their desire to travel. It is about challenges, new ideas, friends and the meaning of life.
Enjoy and please be part of it!
Hi Marina,
I just stumbled upon your blog while preparing to give a presentation similar to Beth’s at OLPC on February 7. Please add me to your email list for new posts.

Hi OLPC Saigon,
This is liling, one of the 16 Singaporean Interns working in Saigon for the next 5 months.
We would like to do our part to support the OLPC movement. do you require any assistance in OLPC saigon? we would be pleased if we could teach the children some basic computer knowledge or for the more tech savvy children we can teach them some advance computer skills.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Dear Liling, thank you so much for offering your help. Yes, we need teachers with computer skills both for PC and XOs. Are you familiar with the XO OLPC computer and Sugar programs?
Marina.
